ABOUT THIS WEBSITE AND ITS INITIATIVE: Foundation for Rural Entrepreneurship Development (FREND), a is a Company with Charitable objects, incorporated as per the provisions of Section 8 of The Companies Act, 2013 in India and is supported by Tata Trusts and by Google, to work as a vehicle for other like-minded organizations to leverage the power of the Internet Saathi network for socio-economic development of rural India. This Website is for dissemination of information and to further enable sustainability for the Internet Saathi network, a joint Initiative of FREND, Google and Tata Trusts and for opening up other avenues of economic opportunity for them.
